1.ROOPKUND TREK:-If you are trekking in India, the Roopkund trek is a must do it got everything going for it. Deep virgin forests, gurgling brooks, breathtaking campsites, miles of undulating meadows, snow and ice and the taste of a great adventure as you climb from 8000ft to 16000ft in six days.

2.PINDARI GLACIER:-The  Pindari Glacier is a Glacier found in the upper reaches of the Kumaon Himalayas, to the southeast of Nanda Devi, Nanda kot. The glacier flows to the south for a short distance of about 3km in the breadth and gives rise to therPindaririver which meets the Alaknanda at Karnaprayag in the Garhwal district.

3. CHOPTA:-Chopta  is a small region of meadows and evergreen forests area which is a part of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in uttarakhand state, india and a base for trekking to tungnath third temple of panchkedar, which lies 3.5km away. Located at a distance of 1.5km from tungnath in chandrashila, arising to over 4000 meters.

4.PANCH KEDAR TREK:-The Panchkedar trek includes all the five shines associated with the hindu legends. All of them are situated in the kedar valley. At Kedarnath, situated at the head  of the mandakini river, the linga is a natural rock rthat resembles the hum of a bull. Madhmaheshwar situated at the base of chaukhamba peak is at an altitude of 3500m. Here the linga is worshipped in the form of a novel. Tungnath, where the arm of shiva appeared is the highest temple in garhwal is situated at an altitude of 3810m. 500m above the e at Tungnath is Chandrashila.

5.DODITAL TREK:-Dodital is a freshwater lake in Uttarkashi district. It is situated at a height of 3024 meters. Assiganga rises from Dodital and joins Bhagirathi. The confluience is at gangori to reach Dodital from Uttarkashi a short jeep ride of 19km will take you to Sangamchatti from where the 24km trek to Dodhital begins. This is a mostly gentle trek with overnight halt options at the village of Agora or Bebra. According to one of the popular legends Lord Ganesha chose this place as his abode. There is a temple devoted to lord Ganesha here. Another name for this lake is Dhundital meaning Ganesh katal or lake of Ganesha.

6.KALINDIKHAL PASS TREK:- The big daddy of all treks in garhwal and covering a total distance of 99kms, the high altitude trekking route from GangoutriBadrinath, via Kalindikhal is popularly known as isKalindikhal pass trek. The trek is full of thrill and advanture and requires some fundamental knowledge of mountaineering. The trek embarks from Gangoutri across the Kalindikhal.

7.NANDA DEVI TREK:-Nanda devi is the second highest mountain in india, and the highest located entirely within the country. It is the 23rd highest peak in the world. It was considered the highest mountain in the world before computations in 1808 proved Dhaulagiri to be higher. It was also the highest mountain in india before 1975 when Sikkim the state in which Kanchenjunga is located, joined the republic of india. It is part of the greater Himalayas and is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.

8.KAURI PASS TREK:-Kauri Pass Trek is among the most scenic excursions that you will ever take through the Himalayan mountains. The mountains pass is located in the Garhwal region of the state of uttarakhand. It lies to the south of the Tibetan Plateau and within the enchanting Nanda devi national park. The path to the pass is also known as curzons trail in honour of Lord Curzon who first travelled on it. Kuari pass is world renowned for offering clear views of some highly prominent mountains sach as Nanda devi, kamet, trishul and Dunagiri.

9.RUPIN PASS TREK:- Rupin pass trek consists of trails dug out of rocks faces and wooden bridges, cut through deep dark folds in the mountains, glacier and icy spices and over snow fields, along the way there are while Rhododendrons and expanse of green meadows. There are different trails that access the Rupin pass. One of them starts at the sleepy village of Gosangu which is the road head of himachal Pradesh.

10.HAR KI DUN TREK:- The Hark i dun trek is one of the most sopught after treks in the GarhwalHimalays. It is a classy river valley trail and never lost its charm to trekkers all over the world. Walking through the wide spread valley, remote villages, local life style, culture and hospitality are not to miss. The sunrise and sunset at Hark ki dun needs special mention. Walking towards marindatal/jaundargla on the exploration day ignites the adrenaline in adventurous mind.

11.NAG TIBBA TREK:-The trek to nag tibbad starts from Devalsari where one can stay in the forests guest house by obtaining permission from the mussoorie forests office. Another way to reach Nag tibba is from Shrikot, some 110km from Dehradun the trek is short from Shrikot compared to Pantwari and Devalsari and one can trek a further 5km to Nag Tibba top which offers a panoramine view of the Hmalayas.

12.DEORIA TAL CHANDRASHILA TREK:-Deoriatalchandrashila trek with Chopta is a short trek up to the most spellbinding peaks in Garhwal district. The first bit of this trekking journey takes one to Deoriatal where one can relish the charming beauty of its lake standing at 2438m. it is from the Chaukhamba peak where one can capture gorgeous views of the Deoriatal lake and its mirror like waters.

13.KAFNI GLACIER TREK:-The Kafni glacier lies is in the Kumaon Himalayas uttarakhand. It is the source of the Kafni river a tributary of the Pindar riverwhich later joins the ganges. The trek starts at Loharket, above the small mountain town of Bageshwar from Loharket you climb up to dhakuri pass from where you start to get a view of mangifilicentHimalays peaks including Nanda khat and Maiktoli. You sit here surrounded by the majestic mountains felling like a small particle in a huge universe and everything feels right in the world.

14.PANCHACHULI BASE CAMP TREK:-is one of the exciting base camps that set out its marquee in a 40km trek starting from dar to Panchachuliflacier. Nestling snugly in the lap of the snow capped peaks of the Panchachuli, the drama valley in Pithoragarh district is endowed with abundant scenic grandeur. The route to the glacier is abound in a splendid combination of enthralling streams, Alpine meadows and a rich variety of flora and fauna.

15.AUDEN’S COL TREK:- is known for the most beautigul views of the higher Himalayas this trek moves in the Bhagirathi valley. The idea is to cross one of the most adventurous passes in the Himalayas via kedartal a simply beautiful green water glacial lake that forms the major tributary to Bhagirathi meeting at Gangotri. Trek starts from the small temple town of Gangoutri from where cross the Bhagirathi and wall into the valley following kedarganga, one of the major tributaries of the Ganges, believed to be shivas contribution to it. The trek till kedartal is a gnarly one with a few rockfallzones in between one has to be in their wits in order to tackle the walk in the primeval moraines. Camping in the moranies near the snout, you can hear the cracking glaciers as they move un-noticed to the eye.
