ROBBERS CAVE:- Robbers cave ( locally known as Guchhupani ) located near Anarwala, is a river cave formation in Himalayas located approx 8km from the centre of the Dehradun city in Uttrakhand . The cave is about 600m long, divided into two main parts. The cave has a highest fall of about it is a natural cave formation where river flows inside the cave. The place is a popular tourist spot & is now being maintained by Uttrakhand state.
SEHESTRADHARA: Meaning thousand fold spring is one of the most popular tourist destination located in Dehradun in Uttrakhand. The place has magnificent beauty of nature where water drips from the limestone stalactite’s, making the water abundant in sulphur & thus the place is known for its sulphur springs. This place is about 11km from the city of Dehradun
TAPKESHWAR MAHADEV TEMPLE: A very old Shiva Temple known as Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple along with Drona Guha ( Guru Dronacharya’s Cave ) is present in this location providing a good mythological scenario and an essence of historical importance to the place. People visit and worship here.
LACHHIWALA: Is a popular local destination in Doiwala Dehradun situated on the bank of tributary of the nearby song river, its major attraction are the Verdant forest, man made water pools & a scenic setting, all overseen by the forest department of the country. Local forest authorities estimate that around at least 2,50,000 people visit the site each year with peak season footfall in April – May comfortably exceeding 5,000 peoples per day.
MALSI DEER PARK: Is now renamed as Dehradun Zoo. Malsi Deer Park is a major wildlife lovers attraction after Rajajai National Park in Dehradun located at 10Km from Dehradun at Mussoriee road. This mini Zoological park or garden is now developed as a family outing/picnic spot.
ZONAL MUSEUM: It displays a good collection of artifacts related to the origin, development & sustenance of making on Earth. Zonal Museum is a graceful endeavour to give a clear account of the cultural & physical anthropology of western & central himalyas, located in Haridwar road, Dehradun.
BUDDHA TEMPLE: Famous for extravagant Buddhist structure & Holy school of Tibetian religion. Buddha temple is the most visited places in the Dehradun city located at Clement Town. Buddha temple is centre of attraction for many international tourists & Buddhist followers. It is around 5Km from ISBT Dehradun.
ASAN BARRAGE: The wetland of Asan Barrage is situated near the confluence of two perennial river Asan & Yamuna near Dehradun. The lake attracts a large number of waterfowl, both waders & divers. The birds listed as globally threatened species & in the IUCN red data book have been observed at ASAN.
CHETWOODE HALL: Also known as the Indian Military Academy ( IMA ) is the office training academy of the Indian Army. It was established in 1932, It is located in the foothills of Himalya’s about 8Km of west of Dehradun in the Northern Indian State of Uttrakhand. It has lecture halls, computer labs & a café. On the opposite of the drill square is the Khetarpal Auditorium inaugurated in 1982, it has a seating capacity of over 2000.
RAJAJI NATIONAL PARK: Is an Indian National park & tiger reserve near the footfall of himalya’s. It is spread over 85Km square & 3 Districts of Uttrakhand, Saharanpur, Dehradun & Pauri Garhwal in 1983, three wildlife sanctuaries in the area namely Chillu, Motichur & Rajaji sanctuaries were merged into one.
KALANGA WAR MEMORIAL: Located at just 5Km from Dehradun city centre at Saharanpur road. It is a famous tourist spot in Dehradun which still depicts the brave story of Gorkhas. It is perhaps worlds first memorial erected by an army for there opponent
Forest Research Institute: The Forest Research Institute (FRI) वन अनुसन्धान संस्थान देहरादून is an institute of the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and is a premier institution in the field of forestry research in India. It is located at Dehradun in Uttarakhand, and is one of the oldest institutions of its kind. In 1991, it was declared a deemed university by the University Grants Commission.
FRI also contains a museum on forestry. It is open from 9:30am to 5:00pm daily, which an entry fee of Rs 40 per person and a nominal entry fee for vehicles. There are six sections in the museum:

Regional Science Center, Dehradun: The RSC in Uttarakhand State is developed by NCSM in collaboration with Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST) in its premise at VIGYAN DHAM, Jhajra, Dehradun.
The Science Park encompass Dinosaurs park, outer interactive exhibits based on scientific laws, and planetarium, while, the RSC building host Fun Science Gallery, Himalaya Gallery, Frontiers of Technology Gallery, Innovation Hub, 3D Theater, Auditorium of 200 sitting capacity, Exhibition Hall, Library and Meeting Hall. Some of the attractive features of the scientific law based interactive outer exhibit in Science park are Gravity chair, Whispering garden, Musical Bar, Sympathetic swing, Birding Cage, Eco tube, and Perspective house etc. along with proposed planetarium. In addition, Intelligent materials, New trend in nuclear power generation, cloud computing, Robotics, and Carbon nano-tube & graphense etc. are some of the attractive features of the inner exhibits in the RSC Building. The Himalaya Gallery depicts almost every subject related to Geology, geography, tourism, culture & traditional knowledge system of Himalaya through attractive exhibits. It also harbours replica of “holy Amarnath Cave”.
